Practices exclusively in the area of family law. Her firm, Jennifer C. Harrington, P.A., is AV rated. She received her J.D. in 1989 from the University of Florida and her B.A. in 1982 from the University of Central Florida. Ms. Harrington is the past Chair of the Family Law Section Continuing Legal Education Committee and is a past member of the Family Law Section Executive Council. She is a former member of the Family Law Rules Committee and was appointed in 2003 to the Legal Needs of Children Committee. She has prepared and presented seminars for the Florida Bar including the Trial Advocacy Seminar, the Children’s Issues Seminar and Attorney’s Fee Seminars. Prior to practicing exclusively in the area of family law, Ms. Harrington was an Assistant State Attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Fort Myers, Florida. She was a supervisor in the Major Crimes Division preparing and litigated Capital Murder Death Penalty cases. In addition to the Florida Bar, she is a member of the Federal Middle District of Florida, and the Clearwater Bar Association. In 2016 Ms. Harrington completed training in Collaborative Law.
